P229 PolyIso Mold Release 5 Gallon Liquid Pail is a water-based emulsion polyurethane release for hot mold applications. Optimized to release polyisocyanurate insulation. Leaves a thin layer of release agent which is highly effective for TDI and MDI cast urethane. P229 is also used to release rubber and epoxy from molds where parts will not require post finishing. Ideal for non-gel coated products such as polymer concrete (pipe, utility boxes, manways), epoxy pipe, fittings, domes, tanks, etc. Excellent alternative where solvent-based mold releases cannot be used safely. The 1/20 diluatble formula eliminates the need for edge trim.
