Consider Paintable Mold Releases

If you are hot stamping, pad printing, painting, plating, or otherwise planning to decorate your plastic parts, consider Paintable Mold Releases like E302 Rocket Release, E342 Zero Stick, and E313 Release and Paint. “Paintable” mold releases can be painted, hot stamped, pad printed, or vacuum metalized without having to remove the mold release before secondary processes.

Paintable mold releases are still very effective at releasing molded parts while minimizing the time between molding and painting or printing steps. These types of mold releases are preferred by the automotive industry thanks to the quick turnaround of dials, buttons, and other molded parts. Many paintable mold releases, such as the E342 and E302 formulations, are also food-grade.
